Message from our Artistic Directors

Firstly, we’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved for LICMF 2017.

Once again, the Festival was full of fun, friendship and fantastic music, and we know all of our visiting artists loved their time in Lincolnshire.

The concerts were more eclectic than ever before, mixing core chamber repertoire with innovative productions combining words and music.  And those who were fortunate enough to witness the madcap buffoonery of Les Bubb, our resident mime artist, will surely agree it was an experience not to be forgotten in a hurry!

Time passes quickly, however, and we’re now well on the way to finalising our plans for Festival 2018.  Although it’ll be a slightly smaller event than in recent years, we will still be blessed with a wonderful collection of musicians and a series of fascinating recitals.  Given that 2018 marks the 100th anniversary of the end of World War 1 and the death of Debussy, we will naturally explore both subjects through our programming.  Full details will be released soon.

Thanks, as always, to everyone who supports the Festival.  We look forward to seeing you all soon.
